Applications for admission are accepted at any time of the year subject to the capacity of intended grade levels and programmes requirement.  Parents may wish to refer to the following steps for guidance. 

STEP 1: General Inquiry

General information about the school, our programmes and tuition fees etc. can be obtained from the Download section on this webpage or by contacting our Admissions Office at Tel: (8610)6443 3151 ext 215/216/253; Fax: (8610)6443 2467; or Email: admissions@biss.com.cn.  You should also arrange for a school visit when you are in Beijing to help facilitate your decision.

STEP 2: Submission of Application Documents

To start the application process, please prepare the following documents and send to our Admissions Office. 

• Application Form
• Official copies of student’s academic report card (with written recommendations) for the past 2 years (official English translation)
• Reports from Classroom teachers or Principal from kindergarten (for Grade 1 application)
• 2 photocopies of student’s passport-size photos
• Parent Agreement Form
• Confidential Medical History and Medical Treatment Authorization form
• Photocopy of student’s and parents’ passport and visa
• Drug Authorization Form (for Grade 7 and above) 
• Transport Request Form (if required)

   

The above documents are required for every applicant, with no exceptions.

STEP 3: Schedule Appointments

After you have submitted the Application documents your arrival date to Beijing is confirmed, please contact our Admissions Office to arrange: 

•           Entrance Placement Test

•         Interview with Principal 

The registration fees of RMB3,800 should be made at application or prior to taking the Entrance Placement Test.

Step 4: Completion

Parents will be informed about the outcome of the Entrance Placement Test and status of the enrolment after the interview.   Upon confirmation of the starting date, the invoice for the school fees will be presented to parents for payment prior to the start of class.
