“Raising Children Internationally”
presented by, Dr. Ettie Zilber.

If so, BISS invites you to come and share in an informative presentation about raising your children internationally AND inter-culturally. Our objective is for parents to learn, understand and support these early developmental years of their children in international schools. The presentation will focus on the impact of life in a foreign country on the child's character and behavior.
Dr. Zilber will offer strategies for mitigating some of the challenges.
Meaning of Third Culture Kids
Third Culture Kid=A person who has spent a significant part of his/her developmental years outside the parents’ culture(s).
Dr. Zilber is the Head of the Beijing BISS International School. She has spent almost her entire career in international education, teaching and leading in schools in the U.S., Israel, Singapore, Spain, Guatemala and, now, China.She has recently published a book entitled:Third Culture Kids: Children of International School Educators, (John Catt Ltd., UK.) available via Amazon or publisher. . She offers presentations and courses on intercultural communication, international education and international relocation.
